and I am His

i must remind myself not to assume that someones actions - or lack there of - define someones true feelings.

"We walked into a book store and the women who worked there had no idea of the designs that filled her. It made me laugh the way they confused being “well read” with intellectual superiority. She had them on toast before they even opened their mouths to betray themselves as people who had not tasted a single moment of life outside of the written word. And of course she wanders over to the photography section (as she knew they suspected she might) – “to look at pretty pictures”. You stupid bitches, how fucking obvious does she have to be before you realise you’re being made into fools? I understand why she had such contempt for those women. They underestimated her and their audacious attempts to sweet-talk me, HER man, with conversation on Steinbeck and Salinger... Please! It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. No wonder she laughed out loud. She does not suffer the pains of idiots."
